Birthday Bash

Birthday Bash

Jasmine and Justice’s 1st birthday is here and gone.  We celebrated their big day at home with just a few good friends and family.  I am sure they will not remember what happened and who was there, but take it from us, they had a good day. First of all we’d like to thank everyone [...]

New Beginnings

New Beginnings

Justice and Jasmine are about to hit their 8-month milestone.  I say it’s a milestone because this month has been a month of changes, not because it’s a milestone number.  The changes include improved sleeping habits, better appetite of baby foods, and longer periods of playtime.  These changes give us some relief so we can [...]

What Baby Books Left Out

What Baby Books Left Out

Parenthood 101

Home Run!

You’d think my grandfather (Lolo) would like the game more just because he’s a guy, but he didn’t. He still loved the game, he just wasn’t as passionate as Lola.

Anatolian Table

Anatolian Table

This past Saturday we splurged and went out to eat. We know that we should be saving our pennies, but we just found a new Turkish restaurant in Rocklin, CA. called, ‘Anatolian Table’. The restaurant is named after the Anatolia region that the food comes from in Turkey.

Unconditional Love

Unconditional Love

My Mom had a different way of showing that she loved me. She wouldn’t say it in so many words.
In fact, she wouldn’t say the actual words at all. She would, however, show it in her actions.

Think!

Think!

This is the first in a series of life lessons from the Nispiros Portal. In the future you can see all the lessons by filtering by the category ‘Lessons’. This first lesson comes from my dad.
