Technology — By Rolando on February 10, 2009 at 3:43 pmSince I re-started this domain on 12/5/08 I was a nobody. I had no ranking of any kind whatsoever! None, nill, nada! Today I have an Alexa Traffic Ranking of 3,333,313 lol
Alexa Traffic
It seemed to happen over night because last week I installed the ‘Alexa Toolbar for FireFox‘ on all my FireFox browsers at home and at work. Yesterday I installed an ‘Alexa Widgets‘, which you see at the very bottom of my index page and today, bam! I have a ranking.
It’s interesting to see how other pages rank. Test it out. Yahoo! is #1, then Google #2.
I highly recommend these tools for newbies like myself. It’s great to be somebody! Where do you rank?

Not me, I was obsessed why I didn’t have a ranking and how to get one, lol. Now I can sleep tonight.
This is what I get: Speedcathollydale.blogspot.com has a traffic rank of: 404,809
Never paid much attention to Alexa, as I only get 100 – 200 hits a day on my main blog … I have 12 of them total. For two weeks last summer my golf blog out-did all of the rest combined. I did a story on Natalie Gulbis with heavy keywords and image titles / alt text. Most bloggers completly miss the boat when using images, as they can account for half of a sites traffic if used in the correct manner. I have an image of Wonder Woman on my blog that has collected 10,000 hits all on it’s own. Strange but true!!

You are surely the master Speedy! Even 404k is a great traffic rank. I could only be as talented. You’ll have to write an article on how to use images with titles / alt text so you can give the rest of us noobs a chance lol. Woo hoo Wonder Woman. Linda Carter is hot!
