Congrats to the Steelers!

Congrats to the Pittsburgh Steelers!  I wasn’t planning to watch Superbowl XLIII from beginning to end, but I did.  It was a good game and the score toggled backed and forth between the Cardinals and Steelers.  But in the end, the Steelers pulled through with a 27 to 23 win.

Santonio Holmes and James Harrison made the winning plays through out the Superbowl, but Holmes won MVP for his touchdown in the last seconds of the game.  I wasn’t happy with Harrison’s ‘attitude’ in the 3rd quarter with his bullying on the field.  To me, it took away any respect I had for him for the 100 yard return he made earlier.

Half time was also good.  You had Bruce Springsteen playing and the rest of the clan.  The glow in the audience and fireworks through out the show was impressive.  I liked Jennifer Hudson’s version of the National Anthem.  She was spot on!

My original intent for having the Superbowl was to watch the commercials.  There was pretty funny ones out there.  Here are two that I thought was pretty funny.   You can see the rest of the Superbowl XLIII commercials on Hulu.com.

What did you think of the Superbowl?

I’ll admit it. I’m a sucker for the underdog.

Hi Rolando! I am an underdogger and really wanted to see Arizona win their 1st superbowl, but it was a great game nonetheless. I’m glad it was close and not a blowout. I did however love the commercials!

I actually didn’t know that this was Arizona’s first win. I think I actually missed the last 2-3 Superbowls lol. They did very well though. The second video I posted was one of the funnier ones haha.

You know, I was at a party and I left thinking nothing exciting was going to happen. I left right at he beginning of the 4th and then the second I leave the game gets exciting. Congrats to the Steelers.

I didn’t plan on watching the whole thing either. In fact I left the SB party I was at in the 3rd quarter, but when I got home and settle in turned on the tv and there had been a major change of events so I had to watch the final out come.

It was a fantastic game…..now I need to get caught up on the commercials.

    Go Cowboys!!! I mean Cardinals.

That was a great game! I was going for the Steelers but honestly wouldn’t have been upset if the Cardinals would have won. The commercials were good too, the Mr. and Mrs. Potato head one was funny hehe. I was surprised to see a Hulu commercial too! Very cool, very cool.

Some of those commercials like the ones I posted were hilarious. They also previewed some of the new movies coming out. The new Transformers looked pretty cool. Not sure if you were a fan of the first one.

I know what you mean. I could have gone either way even though I was for the Steelers at the beginning. Towards the end I was about 51% for them lol. The Hulu commercial was pretty funny too. They are a major supporter so I guess they need their little plugin.

That’s ok you didn’t miss anything if your team didn’t play. Well, except the GoDaddy.com commercial lol.
